Kinetic Containment

Created in Houdini FX, this short animation explores the transition of matter from solid to liquid through dynamic motion. A ball drops from a suspended pipe, bouncing with rhythmic intensity before bursting and melting seamlessly into an invisible container.

This study focuses on principles of timing, squash and stretch, and the simulation of fluid dynamics. The piece was designed as a practice in blending rigid body behavior with liquid simulation, capturing the moment when tension, gravity, and transformation collide.
